  • Mission

Historic Paradise Foundation (HPF) is a 501c3 nonprofit with the mission to "Proactively Preserve the People and Property of Paradise" in Fort Mill, SC.

    About Us

From 2019 to 2022, HPF has led efforts to provide food and education to the Paradise community, especially needed during the covid-19 crisis. HPF provides educational and wraparound services for the Paradise and similar impoverished families. Though 89% of the community is below the poverty threshold, HPF is working hard to revitalize the community so residents may become self-sufficient. Through a Community Development and Outreach Center, a high quality summer stem camp, field trips and cultural events, and programs dealing with food security and other basic needs, HP is focused on changing the experiences and self-worth of the children of the community, their prized commodity.

The community development and outreach center provides a centralized, community distribution location and allows HPF to maximize donated/granted funds and in-kind donations for the purpose of food distribution, tutoring, basic needs, and more. HPF’s commitment to empower the community has been enriched through partnerships with the greater communities, grantmakers, and local businesses.
