GRANDMOTHERS AGAINST GUN VIOLENCE FOUNDATION

  • Mission

Grandmothers Against Gun Violence Foundation works to end gun violence in our communities by raising funds for research that informs public health and safety policies.

    About Us

Beginning in 2018, GAGVF has stepped up to raise funds to support research to inform public policies. We believe rigorous research is key to reducing firearm injuries while protecting Second Amendment rights. Young scholars and emerging researchers are the recipients of the funds to conduct research related to the impact of gun violence and prevention. The foundation is committed to consistent educational programs and products that raise the level of awareness among all community stakeholders. Since it's founding eight research projects have been supported. Each has contributed to the literature and practices in the field. GAGVF offers regular educational programs and collaborates with community and government agencies in the Seattle area.
