    The Idaho Organization of Resource Councils empowers people to improve the well-being of their communities, sustain family farms and ranches, transform local food systems, promote clean energy, and advocate for responsible stewardship of Idaho’s natural resources.

    Vision:

    To live in a state where every person can meaningfully participate in decision-making processes that impact their lives to create just, healthy, self-reliant communities.

    Theory of Change:

    IORC believes in the promise and potential of community organizing. Community organizing brings together people with shared values and common self-interests to work at the grassroots level to build power and make change.
