    The Good Samaritan Center’s mission is to assist families and individuals in emergency situations. We work closely with other organizations to form a “network of helping hands.” Our motto is “if we can’t help, we should know (or be able to find out) who can.”

    About Us

    The Good Samaritan Center is a nonprofit social service agency with a location in Jackson, MS and Laurel, MS. Our Jackson office assists individuals and families with clothing assistance every 6 months. We also have a food pantry that assists 1) those who live in the Midtown neighborhood, 2)those with a verifiable emergency like a fire, and 3) those who are in the process of applying for SNAP (Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program)
