The Étude Group
The Étude Group is a registered 501(c)3 that operates a k-5 grade (Elementary School for the Arts and Academics), 6-8 grade (The Mosaic School), and high school(I.D.E.A.S. Academy), all public charter schools within the Sheboygan School District. We are focused on providing an education that prepare its students for a work that values creative and innovative thinking, based on measurable outcomes.
As part of the Sheboygan School district, the schools are fully funded by the district. This is primarily based on a per pupil allocation amount set annually by the district. Each school has a contract with the district outlining exemptions where it can diverge from district policy. The schools of The Étude Group largely have discretion over personnel, educational methods, and content as long as it meets the provisions set by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and the provisions of the district contract.
