Episcopal Urban Intern Program

Los Angeles, CA

About Us

The Episcopal Urban Intern Program (EUIP) is a year of service offering of Jubilee Consortium's Urban Service Programs. Founded in 1991 by then Los Angeles Bishop Fred Borsch, EUIP has been changing lives through service and providing a platform for professional, spiritual, and personal growth for decades.

Who We Are

Jubilee’s Urban Service Program is a Year of Service fellowship offering a unique, diverse corps of young adults the opportunity and space to grow personally and professionally while uplifting communities, transforming lives, and critically engaging concepts of justice and equity.

We are one of the longest continuously serving year of service programs in the nation.

Our staff makes it a priority to compile a diverse, unique group of young adults each year to represent our program. Each fall, we recruit our corps from across the United States to live in community and work for change by serving full-time in some of Los Angeles’ most creative and effective social service agencies. These agencies provide corps members with meaningful engagement opportunities in exploring the problems of and possible solutions to social injustice in a city that is full of great beauty and rich culture – as well as great poverty and need.

A year of service is a year that can change your life... Are you ready?

"As my year of service comes to a close, I’ve been thinking about all of the amazing and life-changing experiences I’ve had. What’s coming next for me is exciting, but there are many things that I’ll miss about this year... This year has been hard but beautiful; stressful but exciting; exhausting but necessary. Thank you for changing me and for helping me to truly become the soil." ~2016 alum
