About Us

The International Educator (TIE), located in Hyannis, MA, is a non-profit organization that for over 25 years has been dedicated to developing links among teachers and the extensive American and international schools network worldwide.

TIE's goal is to make teachers aware of the many outstanding opportunities there are to teach overseas at international schools and to experience the exceptional personal and professional growth that goes along with living and working in a foreign country.

TIE has 2 main avenues for educating and enlightening teachers and administrators about the world of international education and the job opportunites in the field.

1.) The International Educator - TIE publishes a quarterly newspaper featuring the latest in international school news and developments for K-12 educators around the world. The International Educator is the leading news publication on all things related to international education, international schools and the teachers who work there. TIE is distributed in over 500 international schools worldwide.

2.) TIEonline - TIE’s website, www.tieonline.com, offers the widest selection of K-12 teaching and administrative jobs available anywhere in the world. TIEonline provides a comprehensive reource for teaching and administrative jobs at the top international schools around the world. Additionally, articles, blogs, news and information are all designed to keep members abreast of the latest news and practices in the world of international education.
