About Us

PCUN has given voice to the voiceless and the unfairly marginalized for over 3 decades.

Since 1985, PCUN has advocated for Oregon farmworkers and working Latinx families, working tirelessly to empower these communities to understand and take action against systematic exploitation and its harmful effects.

Though we have secured incredible victories over the years, like raising the minimum wage for all workers; ensuring all children in Oregon have access to health care; and becoming the largest Latinx organization in the state, the political and cultural landscape have changed drastically — and we’re stepping up to face those changes head on.

Every day brings with it an urgent political or cultural challenge to address, and each new challenge highlights just how critical our advocacy and organizing work is.

Today, we are building a strong network of integrated Latinx organizations so that we can be more effective in achieving our goal: to give Latinx communities tools to influence policy in ways that will improve their lives for the better.
