Mission
To establish and strengthen collaboration among multiple community sectors to develop and support the implementation of programs and activities related to prevention, education and reduction of youth substance use by:
Acting as a channel for programs and information relating to healthy non-addictive lifestyles,
Assessing and reporting the needs of our community through evidence based effective practices, and
Addressing gaps revealed by these reports.
About Us
We are a community coalition focused on bringing local stakeholders together to develop and support efforts to decrease the prevalence of youth drug usage in the town of Irondequoit and partnering communities. We often set up displays and information throughout the community and participate in medication "take back" days. We are looking for volunteers to help with these various events and also, if you are interested to join the coalition at large/committee. We just received a federal grant to allow our work to continue but need help getting our information "out there"
