  • About Us

Karibuni Eco-Cottages are a community-based tourism initiative established in 2009 by Team Kenya in Ndhiwa, rural Kenya. The project offers visitors the chance to experience life in a traditional Kenyan village in an ethical and sustainable way, as well as offering a wide-range of volunteering opportunties. Karibuni is also a community resource for sustainable development addressing problems such as climate change and lack of food security, and provides an important venue for community groups to meet, hold workshops and carry out other activities and training.
