Mission
Springfield Partners For Community Action is the federally designated anti-poverty (Community Action Agency) for the City of Springfield.
About Us
Springfield Partners For Community Action was formed under the 1964 Economic Opportunity Act with a primary focus of alievating the root cause of poverty and creating greater self-sufficiency and economic opportunities for the poor and low-income. We accomplish this through the various programs and services we offer such as; the Volunteer Tax Assistance Prorgam {VITA}, Individual Development Accounts {IDAs a matached saving prorgam to help participants become 1st time home owners, advance their education and/or start a small business}, Financial Literacy, Credit Counseling, Housing Counseling, Multicultural Alzheimer's, Eviction Clinic, Emergency Fuel, Early Educationa and Care, Veteran's Services, and Weatherization.
