NCWIT-National Center for Women & IT
The National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) is a nationally-serving non-profit based in Boulder, Colorado. We are a coalition of more than 1,100 corporations, universities and non-profits working to significantly increase girl's/women's participation in computing. The organization is prominent on the national computing landscape, and has raised over $21 million in NSF grants, as well as considerable corporate gifts. NCWIT’s unique structure spans both the University of Colorado and a 501(c)(3), each with their own set of procedures and benefits, giving those involved in the organization unusual exposure and access to academic, governmental and industry interactions.
