    Montgomery County Assocation for the Blind (MCAB) is a private, non-profit organization that provides services to individuals of any age who have low vision, are visually impaired, or legally blind. These services include comprehensive Case Management, Prevention of Blindness (vision screening for preschool children and senior adults), Orientation and Mobility training (learning to travel safely with instructions on cane use), Vision Rehabilitation Therapy (adaptive techniques to restore independent living skills), Transportation and Support Groups. Founded in 1945, MCAB is supported by contributions from donors, private foundation and corporate grans, special events, bequests and other gifts.
