  • About Us

There are billions of people who live in the margins of the global economy, and an entire planet that depends upon knowledge for economic and personal development, education and health, political power and freedom, culture, and fun. Knowledge Ecology International (KEI) is a policy entrepreneur, proposing and advocating for better outcomes and new solutions to the management of knowledge resources.

We seek to advance policies that reconcile innovation and access to ensure affordable medicines for all and design and implement better approaches to the management of knowledge resources, with emphasis on access, and production of knowledge that addresses social needs. We work to reform and monitor intellectual property norms and practices, globally, regionally, and nationally that impact people’s well-being.
