Mission
The University of California 4-H Youth Development Program engages youth in reaching their fullest potential while advancing the field of youth development. Our hands-on projects fall under four primary areas. We provide meaningful opportunities for youth and adults to work together to create sustainable community change. We strive to create an atmosphere where youth are able to explore knowledge, share ideas, grow skills, and find their passion. Research shows that when youth are engaged and self-direct their own learning, their learning is optimized.
