Claremont Neighborhood Centers

Claremont Neighborhood Centers Inc. is a community-based, not-for-profit organization located in the Claremont/Morrisania section of the Bronx, serving approximately 300 clients daily. Focusing on neighborhood needs, Claremont's services include: child care, after-school programs with activities such as homework help, tutoring, karate, dance (Step), Music Instruction, Ceramics, computer instruction; and a range of athletic activities. Wealso provide a Summer Camp, and are a processing site for Fresh Air Fund applications. Claremont Neighborhood Center offers teen evening programs Youth Leadership, Youth Employment; and a Night Light program for teens with extended recreational hours until 10:00 PM, and other activities that include Career Awareness, and Community Service Projects. Claremont Neighborhood Centers also has a Fathers Program that provides counseling, parenting classes, anger management and conflict resolution workshops to fathers.
