Founded in 2017, CTC is the only organization building a corps of deep canvassers to stop President Trump. CTC played a critical role in the 2018 midterms, training over 250 volunteers and completing 2000 conversations to support Max Rose, the Democrat who won an upset victory in New York’s 11th Congressional District, as celebrated in this NowThisNews video.

Deep canvassing is a respectful form of voter engagement based on face-to-face respectful dialogue and storytelling. It’s also the most effective form of voter persuasion ever measured. Deep Canvassing’s effectiveness has been demonstrated through rigorous academic studies of its impact on ballot initiatives, and CTC is the first organization to faithfully replicate the technique in partisan elections. 

CTC is also seeking to partner with national canvassing organizations and use Pennsylvania as a national Deep Canvassing training center.
