    Girls In Action is a leadership and empowerment after school program for middle school girls, now in its fourth year. Girls receive free homework assistance, take computer classes, and learn about issues that affect their lives through various activities. GIA girls participate in community service, which will help them develop into more responsible adults with excellent leadership skills. GIA addresses the five core areas of: self-esteem and leadership, health and wellness, community service, creative futures, and racial justice.
