Mission
Providing a network of support and empowerment for youth to break the cycle of homelessness and promote independence.
About Us
Kids In Crisis-Intervention Team (KIC-IT) is a non profit organization that seeks to help the youth of Johnson County, ages 16-25, who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. The KIC-IT office provides emergency food, hygiene items, rent/utility assistance, staffing/food pantry/mental health referrals, and much needed one on one counseling from trained life coaches. KIC-IT also has two transitional houses for youth to live in as we set them up for self-sufficiency and independence.
