Aaron Community Cultural Center

About Us

Aaron Community Cultural Center is a non-profit transitional housing facility. Since 2014, ACCC has opened beds to women facing homelessness in an initiative to help them gain stability and reach goals to self-sufficiency. The shared-housing facility has done this by providing job training, parent education, and court-ordered anger management courses.

At the beginning of 2020, ACCC began doing renovations to allow new tenants to enter our shared-housing program. The shared-housing facility renovations finished just as COVID-19 affected Los Angeles County. Due to the pandemic, there were challenges housing women. Rental assistance was put on hold and many women ended up turning to emergency shelters. They went from waiting a couple of weeks to waiting months for housing services. ACCC is eager to house women who are struggling to find housing during the pandemic.

ACCC is also affiliated with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and distributes food to the Gardena community weekly. This has a been a vital service to the community during the pandemic, as many are experiencing food insecurity.
