    The University at Buffalo (SUNY) offers degrees in all major fields of engineering through the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Students may pursue master's and doctoral degrees in the departments of biomedical engineering; chemical and biological engineering; civil, structural, and environmental engineering; computer science and engineering; electrical engineering; industrial and systems engineering; materials design and innovation and mechanical and aerospace engineering. In the top 15 percent of the nation's 300 engineering schools, the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences offers a wide variety of excellent instruction, research opportunities, resources, and facilities to its students.
