MAKE A DAY FOUNDATION

Make-A-Day (MAD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that believes everyone deserves dignity, connection, and a chance to succeed. We work with people facing housing insecurity who often fall through the cracks of the current system. Our goal is to support our guests by solving the problems that keep them from finding stability, through Pop-Up Care villages, linkage to social services, and individual case management.

We host street outreach events twice a week, where we serve free, chef-prepared meals. Right now, we’re the top meal distribution partner for the Mid-Ohio Food Collective. Every other month, we also hold Pop-Up Care Villages where 150-200 guests receive meals, free haircuts, and access to 15-20 community partners offering same-day services. We provide one-on-one case management to support guests long-term, and this fall we’re launching Move the Box-a mobile legal clinic that helps people clear criminal records that make it hard to find housing or jobs. All our programs are focused around meeting our guests where they're at and walking along side them every step of the way.
