    Founded in 1999, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) is dedicated to fighting the world’s toughest cancer. In our urgent mission to save lives, we attack pancreatic cancer on all fronts: research, clinical initiatives, patient services and advocacy. Our effort is amplified by a nationwide network of grassroots support. We are determined to improve patient outcomes today and to double survival by 2020.

    OUR VISION: DOUBLE PANCREATIC CANCER SURVIVAL BY 2020

    Of the major cancers, pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate.

    In 2011, our organization declared a bold and aggressive vision: After seeing too little progress in pancreatic cancer survival in over half a century, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network put a stake in the ground to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.

    This is our Vision of Progress.
