Urban Housing Solutions provides affordable rental housing and social services for low-income individuals and families in Nashville, Tennessee. Our 13 apartment complexes and three group homes house over 800 people, many of whom have special needs.
We offer the following types of specialized housing: # 66 units for people who are in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction through our Journeys of Hope program. A full-time addictions counselor works with these residents.
- 40 units for people who are homeless and mentally ill. A full-time mental health case manager serves these clients.
- Nearly 20 units for chronically homeless men and women through our Housing First program. Residents in this program are surrounded by case management in order to address the things that made and kept them homeless.
- 100 units at Mercury Courts for homeless men and women where rent is one-third of a resident's income. Residents at Mercury Courts have two full-time service coordinators, a shuttle service, a computer lab, and a variety of classes and other activities.
