mothers for justice and equality

The mission of Mothers for Justice and Equality (MJE) is end neighborhood violence. By empowering our members to be effective change-makers, we reclaim the identity of our communities and restore a sense of hope and purpose for our children. MJE believes that mothers are powerful change-makers in our communities. If given the right tools, mothers can become catalysts for change at home and advocates for change in their neighborhoods. Ultimately, MJE believes that change will occur as the internalized expectation of what is acceptable in our neighborhoods changes.
