26 Letters
Mission
About Us
26 Letters began with a single student. Our founder, Janira, met Salah when he was 13. He wanted to go to school but he couldn't, so Janira created a school for him. From that moment, our journey began.
At 26 Letters, our primary goal is to provide education to children and teens who might otherwise be denied this fundamental right. We aim to break the cycle of poverty by offering free, quality education to all. We believe that every child we educate is as important as the first one, and we continue to uphold this principle in all that we do. We offer a comprehensive educational program that goes beyond traditional subjects. Our curriculum covers English, mathematics, and Arabic, and we place a strong emphasis on values such as inclusivity, respect, and peace. We also provide humanitarian assistance in the form of financial support for medical operations, school tuition, and essential medicines to ensure the well-being of our students and their families.
While our journey began with a single student, our impact has grown steadily over the years. We have successfully provided education and support to numerous children and teenagers, empowering them with knowledge and opportunities. Our commitment to democratic principles has allowed our organization to evolve and adapt to the ever-changing needs of our students. Today, we stand as a democratic NGO, guided and managed by the very individuals we serve, embodying the principles of inclusivity, equality, and empowerment.
