The Prejudice Institute seeks to improve intergroup relations and public policy through action research and analysis. Our perspective involves all dimensions of prejudice, discrimination, conflict, and ethnoviolence (including race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, and disability). Our work cuts across the social sciences and law. The aim of our research and education is to focus on strategic sites, that is, those which are critical for social policy. To that end, we are an experiment in bridging the gap between social research and community activism.
