Lillian's List Action Fund

Lillian’s List recruits, trains and supports progressive women, who are champions of reproductive freedom and equity for women, to run for public office in North Carolina. Through our Action Fund, we provide strategic guidance and political training to women leaders across North Carolina who are interested in running for political office. We have trained 665 potential candidates since 2011. In addition, we provide campaign staff and volunteer training. We are modeled after EMILY's List to provide financial, strategic, and political support to women serving in the state legislature and the Council of State.

Lillian's List is one of the state's strongest political networks. During our 20 year history, our PAC and our members contributed approximately $1.4 million to our featured candidates. Our network includes more than 8,000 women and men from across North Carolina committed to recruiting and funding viable women candidates. Since our inception in 1997, we have supported every one of the progressive women elected and currently serving in the NC General Assembly.
