Street Kids International UK
Street Kids International UK is a non-profit agency based in London, United Kingdom. It was launched 2008 as the UK arm of Street Kids International who are based in Toronto, Canada and was founded in 1988 by Peter Dalglish.
We strive to help street youth worldwide develop business skills and health knowledge to better their lives.
We team with youth workers at youth organizations around the world to develop locally relevant, innovative trainings that engage youth about entrepreneurship, sexual health, and drug use through interactive activities and animated videos.
Having worked with more than two million street kids in more than 60 countries, Street Kids International is honoured to have been recognised for our work by a number of prestigious bodies:
Street Kids International has been recognized by the United Nations as a Global Best Practice Leader in youth work CME and CIDA Special Recognition Award for Long-Term Commitment to International Cooperation, 2007 Conrad N. The organisation is governed by a Canadian Board of Directors, as well as Boards of Directors responsible for its UK and US organizations.
