Chemonics International Mexico - EnfoqueDH

EnfoqueDH es el proyecto de políticas públicas en Derechos Humanos de Chemonics International en México. El proyecto tiene como objetivo acompañar esfuerzos del Estado mexicano para la implementación del Programa Nacional de Derechos Humanos 2014-2018, para prevenir violaciones graves de los derechos humanos y proteger a las víctimas de las mismas, así como promover una política pública en la materia con el Estado Mexicano y la sociedad civil.

EnfoqueDH is the Human Rights Public Policy project implemented by Chemonics International in Mexico. This project will provide the Mexican Government assistance to identify and set in motion the institutional support tactics and strategy to implement the National Human Rights Program at the federal and state levels with the purpose of addressing structural human rights challenges and priority issues. The purpose of the project is to incorporate human rights-based approaches into Government of Mexico initiatives by strengthening federal and state-level legislative frameworks and capacity to implement clear guidelines and procedures in line with international human rights standards. The activity will also strengthen the government's capacity for outreach and dialogue with civil society organizations on human rights policies and support the development of public policies that help prevent abuses and assist victims of human rights violations.
