About Us

RiverCenter works to make Red Bank the people’s choice to live, work, play, dine and shop. To accomplish this, we promote local merchants, recruit new businesses, stage vibrant downtown events, and beautify our streetscapes.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit formed in 1991 to manage Red Bank’s Special Improvement District (SID).

Our versatile staff and strategic programs are funded by a special assessment paid by owners of commercial property inside the SID and by funds that we raise through special events, donations and grants. Under the direction and oversight of the downtown stakeholders that fund us, we maintain a thriving downtown hub that serves Red Bank's residents and attracts visitors from across the state and beyond. Many of our events are so successful that we are able to make generous donations to charitable organizations that serve Red Bank’s most vulnerable.

About Red Bank: Nestled in a cozy nook just minutes away from the beautiful Jersey beaches is a place that Smithsonian Magazine named the 3rd best small town in America. Each day our sidewalks come alive and offer an experience that is as unique as our town itself. Frequently called the SoHo of New Jersey, we have some of the most sought-after and diverse retail, entertainment and dining options on the east coast. We offer entertainment, shopping and special events all year long as well as commutation via rail, bus, boat and car.
