Greater Hampton Roads Diaper Bank

The Greater Hampton Roads Diaper Bank's mission is to combat "diaper need," a silent crisis brought on by not having the financial resources to keep family members in clean, dry diapers. According to the National Diaper Bank Network, diaper need is a public health issue that impacts 1 in 3 families in America. The ramifications of diaper need can be dramatic and may result is a cascade of devastating emotional and financial consequences for both parents and their children. The Greater Hampton Roads Diaper Bank is committed to addressing this need in our community. The GHR Diaper Bank is staffed completely by volunteers; and all funds received by the GHR Diaper Bank go directly to purchasing diapers, buying related supplies, and spreading diaper-need awareness.

Since 2012, GHR Diaper Bank has distributed disposable diapers to families in need throughout Hampton Roads. We collect diapers and raise money to purchase diapers and distribute diapers to families in need through a network of more than 40 faith-based and social services organizations.
