University of Chicago Divinity School

The University of Chicago Divinity School is the graduate professional school for the academic study of religion at the University of Chicago. Our students and faculty engage in research about religion as a human phennomenon from the perspective of religious communities, texts, rituals and other human realities. Students prepare for professions in the academy, public religious leadership, government, and many forms of social service organizations.
