About Us
Off Broadway West Theatre Company was established in 2006 by a group of theatre professionals who decided to make a difference with the stories they tell. Long standing in the San Francisco community with experience ranging from acting, directing, producing, and design, these artists and craftsmen have been nominated and received awards. Each member has been a part of and/or co-founder of other theatre companies.
Our Mission Statement
Our purpose is to combine great theatre classics with relevant new plays by playwrights from the East Coast as well as the West. Endeavoring to discern and expand excellence and truth in the arts, our aim is to awaken our audiences to new ideas. The mission of Off Broadway West is to promote and encourage the continued development of theatre by providing leadership and opportunities for education while bringing together the talents of the two very diverse coasts of our great nation, right here in the San Francisco Bay Area.
