About Us
The North Fork Education Initiative (NFEI) is a new nonprofit on the North Fork of Long Island whose mission is to create educational programs and opportunities with a focus on arts and the environment.
NFEI will execute its mission through several initiatives: a small, privated community school; community arts and cultural events; afterschool arts and environmental activities; adult education; and summer programs for youth. NFEI’s primary focus for the first several years will be on developing and launching a K-8 independent school.
