About Us
Founded in 1999, Mona Foundation is a Seattle based non-profit development agency dedicated to enabling communities around the world to grow from within through targeted financial support. We establish long-term partnerships with locally based education programs and schools. Mona Foundation believes that the key to poverty reduction and the development of human resources lies in universal education and gender equality. Since 1999, Mona has awarded more than $7 million to 34 projects in 18 countries, providing access to quality education for hundreds of thousands of children, women and their families.
