Western Los Angeles County Council, Boy Scouts of America

About Us

The Western Los Angeles County Council (WLACC) supports individuals, families, and community organizations by providing values-based recreational and educational programs and activities that develop young people of character as defined by the Scout Oath and the Scout Law. WLACC provides educational programs for boys, girls, and young adults to build character, teach the responsibilities of participating in community service, and to develop personal fitness. Scouting not only teaches basic skills and promotes teamwork but encourages children to achieve a deeper appreciation of others in their communities, including peers, parents, and other adults. Early in their Scouting experience, youth learn the value of serving others through community service.
