Rozalia Project for a Clean Ocean

About Us

Rozalia Project for a Clean Ocean’s mission is to protect the ocean through innovation, education, cleanup and research.

Rozalia Project is unique and action based taking trash out of the water, rather than just pointing at it, and operating nationwide from docks and shorelines and throughout New England from the record-breaking circumnavigator and Ted Hood 60’, American Promise. We connect people of all ages to their underwater world and inspire them to be part of the solution by using underwater robots (ROVs) and sonar as well as nets to locate and remove marine debris. We are committed to accurate data collection and working with stakeholders (sailors, fishermen, boaters, citizens, schools, town leadership and more) to clean up and forward solutions to the problem of marine debris

Our programs include underwater trash-hunting with the ROV, presentations, STEM education-based activities for grades 3-12, cleanups and research projects throught North America. We have delivered programs and presentations to people of all ages at the Philadelphia Independence Seaport Museum; Community Boating, Boston; the offices of the Ocean Conservancy; Underwater Intervention Conference, New Orleans; Ft. Walton Beach Yacht Club, Florida; the tall ship Exy Johnson, San Pedro, CA; the US Sailing National Sailing Programs Symposium; National Sailing Hall of Fame, Annapolis, MD; Sail Newport, Newport, RI and at the 5th International Marine Debris Conference to name a very few.
