    Mountain Forum Himalayas (MFH) is a multi-stakeholder platform mandated to address the issues concerning the sustainable development of the mountains by promoting joint, collective and participatory actions. MFH has developed a long term approach towards strengthening governance, disaster management, assurance of sustainable livelihood and in mountain water related issues. MFH evolved out of decade of sustained, continuous and concerted efforts of CASA and its partner organizations in addressing the issues, prevailing in the Himalayan region. The establishment of the forum has provided a platform for the involvement of different stakeholders in pursuing the mandate of MFH collectively.
