VEGMICHIGAN

The largest vegan nonprofit organization in the state, VegMichigan is an inclusive organization that welcomes all, no matter where they are on their plant-based journeys, to our events - from omnivores to longtime vegans.

VegMichigan believes everyone should have access to opportunities that will teach them how to improve their health, eat in alignment with their values, and lessen their environmental impact. Our educational programs provide communities around the state with the knowledge, resources, and support necessary for those new to eating plant-based, as well as those looking to increase their advocacy efforts.

VegMichigan hosts over 100 events per year including presentations, tabling, food sampling, dinner clubs, and our two large VegFests. In July 2023, we signed a contract with the City of Ann Arbor to collaborate on their carbon neutrality initiative, as diet and food production play a large role in climate change.
