Jazmin Safe Water Initiative

About Us

The Jazmín Safe Water Initiative is a water and sanitation project in Costa Rica that was founded in 2007 by several Harvard and MIT alumns to tackle the problem of inadequate access to safe water through a dual engineering and education campaign.

To date, our group has raised over $9,000 through Global Giving (an online organization), and received a grant from Harvard for another $8,000, raising our total to $17,000. This funding has helped us to jumpstart our project and to successfully complete the community diagnostic necessary for water engineering. However, we hope to raise more to move forward with our project!
