About Us
The Serpentine Society is a project of the University of Virginia Alumni Association. We advocate for LGBTQ life on Grounds and support UVA's LGBTQ and allied alumni community around the world. We fund professorships and scholarships, and have increased our scholarships from $15,000 to more than $250,000 over the past 5 years. We also provide hardship assistance, fund unpaid internships & professional development, and provide grantmaking to community organizations.
