About Us

CASA of the Tennessee Heartland is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization who speaks on behalf of abused and neglected children in the Anderson and Scott County Court systems.

CASA of the Tennessee Heartland was founded in 1988 and since that time has served countless numbers of innocent children who, through no fault of their own, have been brought into the court system. CASA of the Tennessee Heartland has given these children a voice.

Each year, hundreds of children are removed from their homes because of abuse and neglect in Anderson and Scott Counties. Currently, CASA of the Tennessee Heartland is able to give a voice of hope to half of these children. For the latest child welfare statistics in Tennessee click here

It has been proven that children with a CASA volunteer do not get “forgotten” in the foster care system, they receive necessary services and medications and are less likely to return to the court system.

Consider adding your voice to ours and speaking up for these hurting children. Be a voice of hope. Be a CASA.
