Vanguard High School

Vanguard is a small, progressive public school in the heart of New York City. We believe that learning is a product of thinking. We take advantage of our small class size to personalize instruction and challenge our students to their creative heights. Students develop critical linguistic and logical-mathematical thinking skills. We also place equal attention on students who show gifts in other intelligences including the artists, architects, musicians, naturalists, designers, dancers, therapists, entrepreneurs.
