HYCF is a registered non-profit organization based in Karonga, Malawi, south-eastern Africa. At HYCF, we are dedicated to helping the underserved communities of Malawi by providing the necessary resources to meet the basic needs of living.

Our main mission is to bridge the gap in inequalities and address the vulnerability in the underserved communities of Malawi through the empowerment and capacity building of women and girls, men and boys, tackle gender discrimination and violence, and support more equitable economic and social opportunities for the marginalized people.

As an organization based in Malawi, we have seen the issues that families struggle dealing with gender inequalities and exposure to HIV/AIDs to pushing themselves to extreme conditions to meet basic necessities.

We strive to work with communities to foster change and through the generosity of donors and our wonderful team of volunteers, we are doing just that!

VISION 

HYCF's vision is to achieve a society that is at least 75% free of social and climate problems through a sustainable environment, social, and education by 2030

OBJECTIVES

To provide a healthy environment for the children to receive their basic needs and lead them to a brighter future.

To provide capacity building to children on how to protect themselves against drug and substance abuse, and provide counselling.

To collect and document data on the challenges that children face in society

To help survivors of any right violations psychologically and sign post them to other service providers for final assistance.

To empower vulnerable groups through income generation activities to reduce economic dependency.  

To approach the community as a whole and together focus at needy people and children who seek a better space for life's betterment and find the brighter side of their life.

To carry out activities and disseminate information which will help to mitigate the impact of covid 19 that the vulnerable groups are facing.

To empower youth and women through income generating activities to reduce economic dependency.

To empower the citizens to take responsibility and actively engage in the realization of their rights in all spheres of life.

To ensure that there is increased awareness on cause, prevention and positive living.
