Youth Resilience Institute

  • Mission

The Youth Resilience Institute believes that mental health and substance abuse can be managed and curbed through early detection and timely diagnosis. As a result, the organization will work closely with existing community organizations and referred families and individuals, to identify early indicators and other risk factors and address them at the earliest possible onset. The expected result of this community immersion is increasing numbers of South Los Angeles’ families capable of preventing and/or managing the incidence of mental health and substance abuse among their loved ones.

    About Us

To accomplish its vision and mission, the Youth Resilience Institute will provide outpatient services to persons suffering from conditions of mental health and both outpatient and in-patient services to those suffering from substance abuse, in alliance with their families, to enhance their ability to manage these diseases adequately and well enough to lead productive lives. It supplements these services by offering life planning training and youth diversion services.
