Cherished High Desert

  • About Us

Cherished High Desert is a free residential program and social enterprise dedicated to empowering survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation.

    Cherished's impact is five-fold:

    1. Outreach
    2. Awareness
    3. Residential Program
    4. Social Enterprise
    5. Aftercare

Under the umbrella of The Highlands Christian Fellowship, Cherished started as an outreach in 2011.  Now its own non-profit, in March 2015, Cherished opened its residential program which provides housing for up to 3 years for survivors.  Cherished is also a social enterprise. Survivors work in the Cherished Studio creating jewelry pieces as well as organic bath and body products.  Our jewelry is sold in a Fair Trade catalog as well as at fairs, festivals and boutiques.
