  • Mission

Idaho AEYC envisions a world where all children thrive: at home, in child care, in the classroom, or with their caretaker, teacher, early educator, or family. Our mission is to advance Idaho’s early learning profession and advocate for children, families and those who work on behalf of young children.

    About Us

Idaho AEYC is dedicated to improving the quality of early learning programs and increasing access to those opportunities across the state.

We are Idaho’s onlyearly childhood association that advocates for investments in high-quality early learning and directly supports those who work with and care for our youngest children. Our unique expertise provides early childhood professionals with best practices to help young children thrive.

Idaho remains one of only a handful of states that does not invest in early learning. Families across Idaho say that quality child care and preschool programs are inaccessible and unaffordable. As a result, half of our children enter kindergarten without the foundational skills they need to be successful in school and beyond. This needs to change, and you can help.

By donating to Idaho AEYC, you help to support our work as we:

    • Increase access to developmentally appropriate, high-quality early learning for children birth to age 8.
    • Mobilize early childhood professionals, parents and community members to advocate for investments in high-quality early learning.
    • Champion our early childhood professionals through policy and resources.
    • Build a robust, knowledgeable early childhood profession.
