    The Timpanogos Storytelling Institute is dedicated to establishing and embracing the power of story to strengthen individuals, families, and communities.

    About Us

    The Timpanogos Storytelling Institute, now in its 36th year, hosts the annual Timpanogos Storytelling Festival on the weekend after Labor Day each September. The event is hosted at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah and is attended by guests and renowned storytellers from around the globe.

    TSI is instrumental in:

    • Preserving and perpetuating the traditional art of oral storytelling.
    • Providing high-quality, family-friendly programs and resources.
    • Utilizing storytelling as an educational tool.
    • Encouraging others to tell, write, and record their stories.
    • Becoming financially self-sustaining.
    • Sharing storytelling with teachers and students.
