  • Mission

Since 2000, HopeBUILDERS has been helping people in the Kansas City Metro live in Safety, Comfort, and Dignity. We assist individuals in need with accessibility modifications and minor home repairs. Our goal is that through these projects, homeowners will be able to stay in their homes longer.

    About Us

HopeBUILDERS is an independent, locally-formed 501(c)3 organization that helps people in Kansas City with accessibility modifications and home repairs. Our clients are generally elderly or people with disabilities, but may also include low income families. Examples of the types of projects we complete include:

    Wheelchair ramps

    Accessibility adaptations

    Painting

    Floor/Wall repairs

    Yard clean-up

There are several ways to get involved with HopeBUILDERS. We typically have two Saturday workdays a month, but we also arrange weekday projects for those interested. We are happy to coordinate group/corporate volunteer dates or youth participation projects.

You don't have to be a master craftsman to volunteer with HopeBUILDERS. Anyone willing to work, learn new skills and have fun is welcome! We believe that every person has something to offer. We would love to have you join our group of passionate volunteers!
